Thanks for visiting my site. I've been neglecting this space for awhile so some things are not quite up to date. Hopefully, they will be within a month or two.

Still, feel free to spend some time looking around, listening, etc. The gigs listed are all worth checking out (in my humble opinion).

The site still needs a rebuild but all the dates are current and the info is good for the most part.

I'm pretty busy this spring with several different projects. There are the usual suspects: the 51st Eight, New Orleans Ale Stars, Hoppin' Mad Orchestra. I'm also working on getting my own projects off the ground. A couple of trios – that sort of thing.

Gigs this month

Check my gigs page to get all the dates, but I'll highlight a few of the more notable ones coming up in the next thirty days or so.

  • April 25- 27th – 51st Eight is in Port Angeles, WA for the Jazz In The Olympics Festival.

  • May 2nd- 4th – 51st Eight at Chilliwack's May Mardi Gras jazz festival. We celebrate our Tenth Birthday with a two-hour set and the party will continue late into the night.

  • May 3rd – Big Bang Brass Band plays the Chilliwack Parade. 11 am, runs through downtown Chilliwack.

  • May 8th – Bria's Hot Five at the Grandview Legion. Special Thursday night dance. 9-12 pm

  • May 8th – 51st Eight plays in Nanoose Bay.

  • May 13th – New Orleans Ale Stars at the Heritage Grill in New West. 8 pm

  • May 18th – New Orleans Ale Stars at the White Rock Trad Jazz Society. Legion 240, South Surrey, BC. 3-6 pm

  • May 20th – New Orleans Ale Stars at the Heritage Grill in New West. 8 pm

  • May 23rd - 26th – New Orleans Ale Stars play the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee in Sacramento, CA.

  • May 29th – Bria's Hot Five plays the Silk Purse in West Vancouver. 7:30-9:00 pm
