Josh has performed with jazz greats Jimmy Heath, Jon Faddis and Curtis Fuller as a member of Capilano University’s ensembles. He has toured North America and Europe with traditional jazz bands, playing festivals from Sacramento and Sun Valley in the US to Breda in the Netherlands.

Josh is a member of Bria’s Hot Five, New Orleans Ale Stars and the Big Bang Jazz Band, among others. His guitar and banjo style is inspired by the rhythm playing of Freddie Green, Eddie Condon, and Lueder Ohlwein; the solo genuis of Charlie Christian and Harry Reser; and the inventive, tasteful swing of George Barnes.
