things i like, things i don't, some other things

When I started revamping the site the plan was to make it a bare-boned, minimalist presentation, as informal and unstructured (yet decipherable) as possible. The reason for this was that I rarely have time to keep things updated, so a list of upcoming dates would have to suffice.

Admittedly, that makes for a pretty dull couple of pages. It might be useful, if kept current, but boring nonetheless.

Here's my compromise: I'll post some photos, an occasional travelogue, and videos of musicians. It will all be right here. I'm sure it will keep evolving but it's a start.

My trio played a British Auto Show at VanDusen Botanical Gardens in Vancouver. Some folks shot video and posted it on YouTube. Here's the footage.

Two of my musical heroes. If there was ever a perfect performance of jazz, it may have been this concert.
